The Khadi Shop has an assortment of little tins of 50 gms or 75 gms of Face Scrubs, Face Packs and even a Foot Scrub.

Made from natural ingredients like Neem, Turmeric and Sandalwood, the simple formulation works effectively on all types of skin.

In our Face Packs range we have 2 types, one in powder form and one in cream form. Those with an oily complexion should opt for the powder pack and those who have dry skin should use the cream packs. There are many benefits one can reap from maintaining good skin health by applying a face pack at least twice a week. 

It is very important to establish a skin care routine and this applies to all types of skin, and more so for sensitive skin. Khadi as a brand stands for gentle cleansing without the use of harmful chemicals.

A normal skin care routine comprises of these steps:

1. Cleansing

2. Toning

3. Moisturising

You should clean your face using a face wash, tone using a mild skin toner in small quantities and moisturise using a moisturiser depending on your skin type. Those with oily skin should use a non-comedogenic moisturiser that won't clog pores or cause breakouts and those with dry skin should use a nourishing cream. Follow these three steps twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed.

Make it a point to use a scrub 3 times a week in place when you are washing your face and use a face pack 2 times a week.

The recipe for clean and healthy skin is quite simple but requires effort from your side. If you develop a habit out of it, in no time it will become an effortless part of your routine and you will be able to look and feel your best.

If you have skin problems and they seem to persist even after a month of your skin routine starting, consult a dermatologist and you may be prescribed hypoallergenic or parabens free products that won't damage your skin's delicate pH.

Another factor to consider when maintaining the health of your skin is how much water you drink. Make sure that you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It might seem difficult to start with that much if you're not used to it so maybe you should start with 5, and then increase your intake gradually. You will notice a natural glow on your face, a cleaner stomach and an increase in energy levels as your body will be detoxifying slowly yet steadily.
